Dionne Sethna Shy is of counsel in the Atlanta, Georgia, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.
When navigating the landmine-riddled terrain of employment disputes, clients find Dionne to be a knowledgeable, reliable guide who works tirelessly to ensure each client is thoroughly prepared for the journey. With almost 18 years of employment litigation experience (which included defending multiple federal government agencies in individual employment cases and employment class actions), Dionne is skilled in developing a roadmap for each client early in the litigation and presenting litigation options that are uniquely tailored to the client's goals.
Dionne’s prior experience as a supervisory attorney at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and her experience as a Special Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, inform her practice and give her a unique understanding of the challenges employers face.
In her spare time, Dionne dabbles in escape rooms, pickleball, voice over recording, and gardening.
