Elizabeth Alfonso is an associate in the Baltimore, Maryland, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in labor and employment matters, including traditional labor issues and preventative advice and counseling.

Liz earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where she worked part-time as a research assistant. She was a member of the National Trial and Thurgood Marshall Trial Teams, President of the Disabled Law Student Association, and member of the Latinx Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Liz worked in the restaurant industry for nearly a decade in a variety of roles- from food runner to beverage program director and assistant general manager.  

Following law school, Liz clerked for the Honorable Dan Friedman at the Maryland Appellate Court and the Honorable Charles D. Austin at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Through her clerkships she developed broad experience in legal research, writing, and litigation strategy across a range of criminal and civil matters.
