Inderjit Singh
Inderjit Singh is an associate in the Silicon Valley, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Inder brings together a triad of legal experience in corporate, regulatory, and litigation to approach each matter with strategic insight and a commitment to defending employers in contentious disputes while simultaneously working to minimize risk.
Inder’s current practice focuses on litigating with an eye toward devising and arriving at optimal solutions for employers, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, harassment and breach of contract. Inder also represents employers in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies, and litigates single-plaintiff cases, class actions and PAGA claims.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Inder was an associate at a leading international law firm where he advised public and private companies on a wide range of corporate and regulatory matters. His practice consisted of M&A, ECVC, securities offerings, as well as representing public companies in merger investigations involving multi-billion-dollar transactions before the Federal Trade Commission and the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority. Through this work, he gained an appreciation for an organization’s day-to-day operations and business objectives that shape how he partners with employers in his current practice.
While attending Cornell Law School, Inder took advantage of every opportunity to gain experience across the legal spectrum in order to become a more versatile advocate. He externed at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the litigation and investigations division, supporting investigations into cryptocurrency fraud, insider trading, and unregistered securities offerings. He worked at the plaintiff’s employment litigation firm on matters involving retaliation and discrimination claims. He managed Cornell's student-led fund, Big Red Ventures and also completed an internship at the Government Accountability Project focusing on workplace investigations and whistleblower retaliation matters. Inder served as a member of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Today, Inder continues to maintain an active pro bono practice, with experience in immigration, criminal, housing, and civil rights matters. This includes representing asylum seekers, filing U and T-visa applications, advising tenants facing eviction, and assisting individuals who have been wrongfully detained.
