Jason M. Julian is of counsel in the San Francisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. With over twenty-four years of legal experience as a seasoned litigator, Jason has represented a wide array of clients in state and federal courts and in arbitrations. He has defended employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, whistleblower activity, wrongful termination, unfair competition, and wage and hour disputes.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jason vigorously defended commercial business interests in civil litigation matters involving intellectual property, real estate, commercial contract disputes and consumer financial services. This has included assisting clients in obtaining favorable results through alternative dispute resolution, by dispositive motion practice, and at trial. Jason’s focus on employment law is driven by his passion for assisting both large and small companies in limiting and managing their potential legal vulnerabilities. He has provided companies of all sizes with guidance in managing nationwide defense of litigation. Further, he has provided advice and counsel to companies regarding newly evolving law, statute and regulation in order to assist in planning for and adapting to legislative legal changes and training employees to minimize risk.

In law school, Jason served as an Editor for the International and Comparative Law Review, sparked by his work in international development and democratization. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Joseph C. Spero at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
