Jeanne Louise Heiser is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Jeanne Louise represents and advises employers on a wide range of workplace law issues. She began her legal career representing employees in a wide variety of employment cases before beginning her service with the federal government. 

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Jeanne Louise spent several years defending the federal government against employment litigation claims including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, reasonable accommodations, and whistleblower claims. She was Senior Employment Counsel at the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Inspector General where she advised on complex employment scenarios and handled administrative litigation. 

In addition to litigation, Jeanne Louise has experience advising on a variety of workplace issues including reasonable accommodations, pregnancy accommodations, discipline, terminations, and other policy driven workforce issues. Drawing on her experience from representing both employees and employers, Jeanne Louise brings a balanced, practical, and strategic perspective to advising and defending employers.
