Jill Chow is an associate in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Jill works closely with employers to design and implement effective workplace strategies, offering support that ranges from proactive compliance counseling to representing organizations in complex litigation.
Jill, appreciating the unpredictable and highly regulated environment of employment, ERISA, and benefits-related litigation, guides local and national employers in industries such as healthcare and higher education through litigation brought by employees and multi-employer benefit funds, delivering legally sound solutions that support long-term business strategies.
Jill defends employers in matters, including lawsuits, class actions, and arbitration, filed in state and federal courts, as well as with various state and federal agencies. Jill has particular experience representing employers in matters involving discrimination, multi-employer fund collections litigation, and wage and hour laws. In addition to Jill’s courtroom experience, Jill collaborates with employers to craft tailored workplace policies that preemptively address compliance concerns. Jill advises employers on employee benefit plan compliance, administration, participant disclosures, reporting, and responding to auditors’ findings.
While attending law school, Jill was a notes editor of the Cornell International Law Journal and participated in the Labor Law Clinic.
