Joseph Martin is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He joined the firm in 1991.

Joe has successfully represented employers in a host of different labor and employment law settings, including before the United States Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Department of Labor, as well as the New York State Division of Human Rights. He spends the majority of his time litigating employment-related cases in state and federal court, and has successfully defended employers at trial and on appeal in a wide variety of employment-related claims. Joe also lectures on employment-related topics, and regularly provides training for managers and supervisors on complying with state and federal employment laws.

During law school, he served as an articles editor for the Pace Law Review. Joe is an avid sports fan whose favorite teams include the Mets and Giants, as well as any team that any of his four children are currently playing for.
