Julia Zuchkov
Julia Zuchkov is an associate in the Sacramento, California office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and disability accommodations under California and federal law. She has experience handling matters involving failure to accommodate, interactive process disputes, and wrongful termination. Julia supports clients through all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Julia graduated in the top 5% of her law school class, served as the executive online editor for the Indiana Law Review, was a legal communication and analysis tutor for the Dean’s Tutorial Society, and the president and founder of her school’s First-Generation Law Student Society. In addition to those accomplishments, Julia was the recipient of the First-Year Academic Achievement Award, the Joan M. Ruhtenberg Scholarship for Achievement in Life and Legal Writing, Lefstein Legacy Scholarship, Mitchell E. Daniels Public Service Scholarship, and received honors for her pro bono service.
Prior to starting law school Julia worked as a mental health worker and in local government where she spearheaded initiatives aimed at benefiting the community and increasing access to resources.
