Julie Kim
Julie Kim is an associate in the Seattle, Washington, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Julie is a litigation attorney who represents both privately held and public companies in a wide range of employment litigation matters. She defends employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. In addition, she provides preventive advice and counseling to clients about employment-related issues.
Julie has experience representing employers in complex class and representative actions involving alleged wage and hour violations, including unpaid overtime, meal and rest break claims, off-the-clock work, employee misclassification, and pay equity claims under Washington's Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (EPOA). She assists clients through all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, and trial preparation.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Julie developed her litigation skills as an associate in the Seattle office of a national full-service law firm where she represented both contractors and owners in construction defect litigation and real estate disputes. While in law school, she served as the managing editor of the American Indian Law Journal. Julie is fluent in Korean.
