Manda Brefo is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions.

Manda represents companies across the technology, telecommunications and energy industries. She also counsels startup companies, advising them on compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations. She regularly assists clients with obtaining nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and permanent residency through employment or family sponsorship. Manda also has broad experience developing and assisting with PERM labor certification programs.  

Prior to joining the firm, Manda worked as an associate attorney at a global corporate immigration firm, handling a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters for Fortune 100 corporations across various industries. During law school, Manda interned at the Dallas Immigration Court, where she attended multiple court hearings and drafted decisions for immigration judges.

Outside of work, Manda has provided pro bono services to individuals at Mosaic Family Services, Inc., a nonprofit community-based organization that provides culturally and linguistically competent services to refugees and immigrants in crisis. She also has participated in Catholic Charities, Citizen Workshop, advising individuals on preparing the proper documents and forms to become a U.S. citizen.
