Mariam A. Sher
Mariam Sher is an associate in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Mariam brings over three years of litigation experience in employment law, personal injury, construction defects, and civil rights matters.
Mariam earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2020, where she received a full merit scholarship and served as President of MELSA. During law school, she co-founded the Iowa Lawyers Guild and organized workshops to help workers learn about their employment rights. She also served as a Research Assistant to Associate Dean Adrien Wing.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mariam worked for two firms and successfully represented employers in retaliatory discharge and discrimination cases. Her litigation experience includes drafting dispositive motions, conducting depositions, and obtaining favorable outcomes for clients across multiple practice areas.
Mariam is fluent in Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu, with some fluency in Spanish.
