Mary Mullen
Mary C. Mullen is an associate in the Washington, D.C. Region office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice is divided between litigation and advice & counseling. Mary has a robust background in employment law and has already achieved significant milestones early in her career.
Mary is experienced in arguing motions in state court and drafting discovery, motions to dismiss, and position statements. Mary’s expertise also extends to writing settlement and separation agreements, as well as reviewing handbooks in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. In addition to her litigation skills, Mary is adept at mediating cases before private mediators, state agencies, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Mary interned for the Administrative Judge Natasha Abel at U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mary also interned for American Rivers in Washington, DC under its General Counsel. Mary earned her J.D. with honors from American University Washington College of Law in 2023. While attending law school, Mary was the Senior Articles Editor of Recent Developments for the Administrative Law Review and a Senior Articles Editor for the Sustainable Development Law & Policy Brief. Mary also received recognition for her commitment to pro bono legal work.
