Maureen Rodgers is of counsel in the San Franscisco, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She advises and counsels employers on a wide range of workplace issues, drawing on her extensive experience as both former in-house counsel and a former employment litigator.

Maureen brings a practical, business-oriented approach to employment law counseling, helping organizations manage risk, prevent disputes, and navigate complex employee relations matters. She partners closely with management to provide strategic guidance on litigation avoidance, wage and hour compliance, commission and bonus plans, reasonable accommodations and leaves, performance and conduct management, disciplinary actions and terminations, workplace investigations, severance planning, reductions-in-force, background checks, and workplace violence compliance. Her ability to understand her clients’ businesses and align legal advice with operational realities allows her to deliver solutions that are both compliant and effective.

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Maureen spent ten years as in-house counsel at financial services companies and a medical device company, advising on day-to-day employment issues and longer-term workforce strategy in highly regulated environments. Earlier in her career, she was a management-side employment litigator, representing employers in a broad range of employment disputes. This combination of in-house and litigation experience enables Maureen to assess risk holistically and guide clients toward proactive, efficient solutions to both routine and high-stakes employment law challenges.
