Mayra Hernandez
Mayra Hernandez is an associate in the Riverside, California office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Mayra is a civil defense attorney with experience handling a broad range of litigation matters, including employment-related disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. She manages cases with a strategic, detail-oriented approach from initial investigation through resolution.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Mayra worked as a litigation associate at a Los Angeles-based full-service firm where she handled matters involving complex torts, premises liability, and personal injury claims.
During law school, Mayra served as a law clerk at the Disability Rights Legal Center, she was an editor for the Journal of Law, Business, and Ethics, and served as Director of the ADR Competition Team, which went on to win the First Place Mediation Team Award at the 18th INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament in Athens, Greece. With an interest in law prior to pursuing her J.D., Mayra worked for several years as a paralegal and legal assistant in immigration, criminal, and family law.
