Michael M. Santocki

Michael M. Santocki is of counsel in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Michael has more than 25 years of experience as an insurance coverage attorney and broker. Michael serves as Jackson Lewis’ risk manager and works with several internal groups to enhance the firm’s insurance offerings and create business opportunities for the firm.  

Michael has represented a large array of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to regional nonprofits. His experience with policy language has assisted clients in maximizing their coverage, as well as advocating on their behalf in a claim setting. One area of Michael’s focuses is professional lines, including employment practices and directors and officer’s liability. Michael brokered the first loss mitigation insurance policy and has worked on several unique policy constructs to facilitate risk transfer. During his insurance career, Michael has worked at several large brokers, including Aon, Arthur Gallagher and Alliant. He has authored several articles relating to the insurance market.
