Michael Y. Hsueh

Michael Y. Hsueh is of counsel in the Silicon Valley, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including defending a broad range of litigation claims and providing preventive advice and counseling.

Michael defends employers against claims involving workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination and wage and hour violations in state and federal courts. Michael works closely with each client at each stage of litigation to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of claims and defenses and to develop a tailored strategy to help each client achieve its goals. He believes that an aggressive, diligent, and creative approach to litigation can help ensure the best outcome possible for his clients.

In addition to litigation, Michael provides day-to-day advice and counseling to employers with an eye toward preventing and minimizing litigation risks. Michael is also an experienced workplace investigator and has conducted complex workplace investigations involving sworn and non-sworn employees and has represented clients in disciplinary appeal hearings.
