Morgan Carr is an associate in the Tampa, Florida office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Morgan is a litigation attorney who represents both privately held and public companies in a wide range of employment litigation matters.
She represents employers in the full range of employment litigation, including claims involving race, age, religion, national origin, disability, and sex discrimination, as well as sexual harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower allegations. She has experience defending employers in federal and state courts and in proceedings before administrative agencies. Morgan also has experience representing businesses in class actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) involving alleged unlawful telemarketing practices and consumer communications.
During law school, Morgan served as the Executive Comments Editor for the Florida International University Law Review. Her legal comment was published in the FIU Law Review journal, and she received the Service of Excellence Award in 2022.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Morgan practiced as an associate at a full‑service commercial litigation firm based in Miami, Florida. She is actively involved in the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and is also a member of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
