Samantha Barnfather is an associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.  Her practice focuses on employment matters, including litigation and preventative counseling to support clients in navigating workplace issues.

Samantha advises employers in matters before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour issues and claims under Title I, Title VII, Title IX, the ADA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, FLSA, FMLA, GINA, PWFA, USERRA, and related employment laws. She guides employers through administrative proceedings and all phases of litigation, offering practical, business-focused support. Samantha’s experience spans industries such as education, manufacturing, healthcare, and food services, enabling her to tailor strategies to each client’s workforce and operational needs.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Samantha counseled clients at a national law firm and later served in-house at a university, gaining valuable experience in risk management, policy development, and day-to-day workforce operations. This background enhances her ability to provide practical, proactive guidance tailored to employers’ organizational and compliance needs.
