Sarah Raoof is an associate in the Orange County, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Sarah approaches litigation like a puzzle, analyzing how the pieces fit together to achieve successful outcomes and steer clients towards optimal solutions to the everyday problems facing their business. Sarah defends organizations in single-plaintiff disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. 

Sarah has experience working with companies in the medical device manufacturing industry, gyms and exercise studios, technology, defense contractors, and the catering industry. Sarah offers tailored counsel and guidance informed by the operational and regulatory challenges these industries face, optimizing outcomes and minimizing risk. Her clients value her ability to translate legal requirements into practical, business-friendly solutions. 

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Sarah practiced dependency law, representing parents in the Los Angeles dependency system. Sarah first-chaired several hundred bench trials and negotiated several pre-trial settlements, securing favorable outcomes in complex and sensitive situations and granting her invaluable trial experience.

Representative Experience

  • Second-chaired a federal court jury trial representing a national trucking company in a complex employment dispute involving allegations of disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, retaliation, and failure to engage in the interactive process, securing a unanimous defense verdict in downtown Los Angeles.
  • Second-chaired a state court jury trial on behalf of an Orange County real estate company defending against age and gender discrimination and breach of contract. The matter resolved under seal prior to verdict.
