Semarnpreet (“Semarn”) Kaur is an associate in the Riverside, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Semarn was a litigation attorney at a national firm where she defended clients in medical malpractice claims and tort matters involving personal injury. She also worked as an associate attorney for a law firm in Ontario, California, assisting in plaintiff-side-employment lawsuits specializing in labor and employment law, which allows her to bring a unique perspective to her approach in defending and counseling employers.

While in law school, Semarn clerked at various civil litigation firms. She also earned a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Practice Foundations: Transactions and graduated with an emphasis in Business Law.
