Shanene M. Frederick is an associate in the New York City, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing and advising employers on various workplace law matters.

Shanene has experience handling discrimination actions and workplace investigations on behalf of management. She represents management in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

During law school, Shanene externed for the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts, former United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law. After law school, Shanene gained invaluable experience as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nancy Joseph, United States Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Shanene worked as an associate at a boutique litigation firm in New York City.
