Join us for two “Happy Hour” webinars, where we try to put 2020 in hindsight!

When it comes to disability and leave management, the past year has been one HR hurricane after another. Everything is different, including our Annual Disability & Leave Management Symposium. We know you are as frustrated as we are. We wanted to have an old fashioned, in-person conference, but in the interest of social distancing we’ve decided to shake (not stir) things up. That’s why we have converted our annual symposium into a two-part “Happy Hour” series. End your day on a high note as we cover the following topics over two days (October 27th and 29th):

The COVID Impact on Disability and Leave Management Law:  Hindsight Is Always 20/20, Isn’t It?
Pour your favorite drink and join us as we discuss what 2020 has taught us about disability and leave management issues.  From whether fear of COVID constitutes a disability, to whether you can require a vaccine, to whether work from home is here to stay as an accommodation, to FFCRA’s impact on FMLA, we will cover the hot issues from the last year and what their lasting impact may be.

In Case You Missed It: Beyond COVID-19
COVID-19 is not the only thing happening. We will discuss what else you may have missed this past year, including the various court decisions issued this year that impact how you manage disability and leave issues, the new FMLA forms, the ever-evolving maternity leave policy issues, and the growing pregnancy issues (that are likely to multiply from all of this quarantine). You may need a Quarantini for this one.

You’ve Got Questions, We’ve Got Answers
There is a lot of misinformation out there and plenty of uncertainty. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid. On Thursday, we will provide plenty of time for questions and answers. Get your questions in early and we will address the real-life questions with practical solutions. Who needs the vaccine, when we have the cure for all of your COVID-19 and leave management headaches.
