States across the country are enacting new and robust pay equity laws and Illinois is no exception. Recent amendments to the Illinois Equal Pay Act require businesses with 100 or more employees in Illinois to apply for an equal pay registration certificate. To obtain a certificate, employers must, among other things, certify compliance with various equal pay laws and disclose workforce pay data.

Join Jackson Lewis P.C. attorneys as we discuss the implications of the new amendments and what employers can do now to prepare.

Topics

  • Certification timeline and deadline
  • Who is an "Illinois employee"
  • Understanding the requirements of the equal pay registration certificate
  • Strategies on analyzing pay to support certification
  • Complexities of data requested by the state
  • Penalties for non-compliance

This program is for bona fide members of management. Jackson Lewis reserves the right to limit attendance or deny registration at its discretion.
