PITTSBURGH, PA (August 9, 2016) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Dean Falavolito has joined the firm’s Pittsburgh office as a Principal. Mr. Falavolito joins Jackson Lewis from Margolis Edelstein, where he was a Partner.

Mr. Falavolito focuses his practice on representing businesses and nonprofit organizations in matters relating to employment law. He regularly represents employers in disputes involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, disability, wrongful discharge, wage and overtime claims, and non-compete agreements. He also represents management in collective bargaining negotiations, union organization issues and National Labor Relations Board proceedings. Mr. Falavolito frequently counsels clients on employment policies designed to minimize exposure to litigation.
Mr. Falavolito regularly appears in federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He recently obtained a unanimous defense verdict from a jury in an age discrimination case in Federal Court in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Falavolito, who is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, received his B.A. from Summit University and his J.D. from Duquesne University.
