WHITE PLAINS, NY (August 3, 2022) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Joseph J. DiPalma has been named a 2022 Rising Star-40 Under 40 honoree by the Business Council of Westchester (BCW). The winners will be honored in a ceremony at Million Air on September 20.

“Joe is a talented employment attorney who is continuing to make an impact on the legal profession, as well as the White Plains business community,” said Joseph A. Saccomano Jr., White Plains office managing principal. “He is well-deserving of this honor, and we are thrilled that the Business Council of Westchester has recognized his achievements.”

Joseph is a principal in the firm’s White Plains office. He represents employers of varying sizes and industries in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining, union grievances, employment litigation and traditional labor matters. As a member of the firm’s Disability, Leave and Health Management group, Joseph focuses a large part of his practice on counseling employers by providing creative solutions to the complex array of workplace disability and health management issues faced by both large and small employers. He counsels clients with the goal of either avoiding litigation entirely or improving outcomes before administrative agencies, courts and juries. Joseph also counsels clients concerning public accommodation issues, with significant experience defending employers in ADA Title III litigations.

With substantial experience representing educational institutions, Joseph is also a member of the firm’s Higher Education group. He assists and counsels academic institutions on items related to discrimination claims, policy review and other preventive strategies. Joseph litigates on behalf of both private and public institutions in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.  In addition to handling matters related to employees, Joseph also assists clients with student affairs matters, including representing academic institutions in New York State Article 78 Proceedings.

"I am honored to be named a 2022 Rising Star-40 Under 40 honoree by the Business Council of Westchester,” said Joseph. “I enjoy having the opportunity to help the Westchester business community navigate workplace law matters in a way that both best helps them accomplish their immediate business goals and execute their long-term strategies. I would like to thank the BCW for recognizing my practice and also congratulate the other professionals selected to receive this award.”
