Raja A. Hafed is an associate in the Sacramento, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Raja is committed to providing employers with comprehensive, strategic legal advocacy to safeguard employers’ interests and support long-term workplace compliance.

Raja’s interest in labor and employment law began long before her legal career, as she worked alongside her father and siblings for more than 15 years in the family-owned restaurant business. That early experience gave her first-hand insight into the challenges employers face and drives her commitment to providing practical and business-focused legal solutions. Raja’s practice is focused on defending employers in complex and high-stakes wage and hour class actions and representative actions under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), as well as against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Raja practiced at a prominent West Coast civil litigation defense firm and gained experience at a boutique personal injury firm in the Sacramento region. Across these roles, Raja developed extensive litigation experience through all stages of the process.
