Brian L. Mosby
Brian Mosby is of counsel in the Indianapolis, Indiana, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Collaboration is the cornerstone of Brian’s practice. Whether working with employers to prevent disputes from escalating or defending litigation when unavoidable, Brian begins his analysis by always asking the same question: how can we together effectuate the preferred business-oriented solution that produces the most stability and the least amount of risk.
With a background in business and computer science, Brian takes an analytical view of each legal challenge and partners with clients to distill complex information into simple, actionable facts. Brian provides practical and effective guidance on the daily employment issues faced by employers in Indiana, particularly those involving wage and hour and leave of absence laws. Solving for the best outcome often involves a need for compliance and compromise, but it can effectively address potential issues before they arise.
Brian knows—despite the most proactive strategies—the unavoidable truth is litigation happens, and he has advocated on employers’ behalf, whether the matter involves a single plaintiff litigation or wage and hour and other class actions. More relevant than the specific tribunal, Brian understands that each case comes with its own set of facts, circumstances, and applicable law that need to be examined closely from the outset and then re-examined as the case moves forward to ensure the strategy is optimized for success. Brian is at his best when viewing each litigation as a puzzle to solve, completing the picture as each piece falls into place and remaining flexible to make the strategy fit the goals of each case.
Outside of the office, Brian is a committed coach for his child's baseball team.
