Marc A. Sittenreich

Marc A. Sittenreich is of counsel in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. The cornerstone of Marc’s practice is a strong command of the law, which he leverages to help clients successfully navigate workplace disputes.

Marc advises and defends employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, religious and disability accommodation, wage and hour laws, and restrictive covenants. Marc also litigates ERISA benefit plan disputes, drawing on his prior healthcare industry litigation experience to guide clients through the complex issues that arise in benefits litigation. 

Prior to joining the firm, Marc spent more than a decade as a litigation attorney at a regional law firm focused on the healthcare industry. Through his years of health-related litigation practice, Marc obtained a thorough and extensive knowledge of the issues faced by healthcare providers, from hospital systems and nursing homes to physician groups of all sizes. 

Marc began his career as a law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn E. Demarest, then-Presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County. Marc also formerly served as an attorney for the healthcare section of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition. 

When he is not working, Marc enjoys travel, spending time with his wife and two children, and civic engagement in his community.
