Eli J. Newman is an associate in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C, whose practice focuses on employment litigation. His interest in labor and employment law began during an internship within the human resources department at a fortune 500 quick-service restaurant chain in Madrid, Spain where he observed the practical intersections of employment policies, global commerce, and people management.

Since graduating law school, Eli has concentrated his practice on litigation and employment matters. At his prior firm, he worked within the education law context, handling employment litigation disputes and day-to-day counseling on behalf of public educational institutions.

In his work, Eli applies a pragmatic lens to complex issues, drawing on both his foundational education and litigation experience to support clients' objectives. At the core of his practice is his focus on relationships with clients and an understanding of their businesses, goals and tolerance for risk.

Outside of work, Eli enjoys golfing, cycling and rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Football.
