Amber M. Samuelson
Amber M. Samuelson is an associate in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice includes representing employers in employment litigation before administrative agencies, state courts, and federal courts.
Amber has experience representing clients in claims involving racial and sexual harassment, hostile work environment, disability, sex, race, national origin, and age discrimination, and violations of the ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, and other statutes.
Amber believes in working with her clients to understand their business, values, and goals in order to attain a successful outcome. Amber’s diverse background and experience guide her goal-oriented approach to resolving employment conflicts and litigation.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Amber was Assistant General Counsel at a private college, where she drove employment strategies, workplace practices and policies with Human Resources and guided the college through complex reductions-in-force. Her experience also includes working at Chicago law firms, representing municipal and public sector clients in complex civil rights, police misconduct, premises liability, breach of contract, and employment cases.
Outside of work, Amber serves on the Women’s Board of the Joffrey Ballet, which advances the activities and prominence of The Joffrey Ballet as a leading cultural and educational institution.
