PITTSBURGH, PA (March 25, 2026) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce McCall B. Chafin has been selected as a 2026 recipient of the Dukes from the Last Decade award presented by Duquesne University. The award recognizes graduates from the past 10 years who demonstrate exceptional professional excellence, community service and dedication to the university.
“McCall is a valued member of the Pittsburgh office, a talented litigator, and deeply committed to supporting local businesses and the broader Allegheny County community,” said Principal Laura C. Bunting-Williams. “It is no surprise that McCall’s leadership and core values are being recognized by her alma matter given her lifelong commitment to service and supporting others. Congratulations, McCall!”
McCall is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. Her practice focuses on defending employers and management through all phases of litigation, including significant work in alternative dispute resolution. She has successfully represented clients in both federal and state court, including securing a complete defense verdict in a federal jury trial involving civil rights allegations and receiving a favorable ruling in a state bench trial on gender discrimination claims.
McCall is also actively involved in the legal community through the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, where she currently serves on the council and chaired the annual Children’s Gift Drive in 2024, serving more than 1,200 children in need.
“As a double Duquesne graduate, it’s truly an honor to be recognized by a university that shaped so much of both my professional and personal life,” said McCall. “I am grateful to be celebrated alongside my accomplished fellow alumni and for the many mentors I’ve had from my time at Duquesne to those who now support me at Jackson Lewis.”
Recipients of the Dukes from the Last Decade are celebrated by the Duquesne University Young Alumni Network as emerging leaders who embody the university’s mission in their personal and professional lives. Through their achievements, they reflect the university’s values of service, integrity and excellence, and serve as role models for fellow alumni and current students.
McCall received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and her B.A. from Duquesne University.
