McCall Chafin headshot

McCall B. Chafin is an associate in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. McCall approaches litigation with the precision of a journalist and the empathy of a trusted advisor. She brings a unique ability to investigate thoroughly, uncover key facts, and craft compelling narratives that resonate in the courtroom. Her practice is built on trust, transparency, and a commitment to understanding each client’s story.

McCall has a background in insurance defense and civil rights litigation, including significant work in alternative dispute resolution. She has successfully defended clients in both federal and state court, including a federal jury trial resulting in a complete defense verdict on civil rights claims, and a state non-jury trial in a gender discrimination case, also resolved in favor of the defense.

During law school, McCall was a semi-finalist in the prestigious William B. Spong Moot Court Competition, showcasing her advocacy skills and ability to think on her feet. She continues to sharpen her trial practice, most recently attending the University of Virginia Trial Advocacy College in 2025.

She is actively involved in the legal community through the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, where she has chaired the annual Children’s Gift Drive in 2024—an initiative that served over 1,200 children in need and continues to serve on the Young Lawyers Division Council. Her dedication to service reflects her broader commitment to building relationships and giving back to the community.

Whether resolving disputes through negotiation or advocating at trial, McCall combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the human elements that shape every case.

When not practicing law, McCall practices yoga, reading the latest library find, or exploring local trails with her husband and their dog.
