Erin M. Salfen is a principal in the St. Louis, Missouri, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Erin is an experienced litigator and trusted advisor to employers.
Erin represents clients in labor matters where she negotiates collective bargaining agreements, defends employers in arbitrations, and guides employers through union organizing challenges, in addition to representation before the NLRB.
Erin provides comprehensive due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, and represents employers in litigation resulting from sales and divestitures. She also successfully represents employers in trade secret and restrictive covenant cases in state and federal courts. She has obtained verdicts for employers in numerous trials and appeals, and has secured multiple early dismissals in ADA, Title VII, and whistleblower single plaintiff and class action cases.
She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, who provides proactive advice on international, federal, and state data privacy requirements, as well as compliance with OSHA, other workplace safety regulations, and wage and hour requirements. She regularly assists clients with drafting and revising employment policies, employee handbooks, and procedures for addressing performance concerns and internal complaints.
Erin previously served as a Staff Attorney to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, drafting opinions for the judges. She was also previously a partner at an AMLaw100 firm, specializing in the trucking, healthcare, and construction industries, among others.
