Andrew Baer is of counsel in the New Orleans, Louisiana, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice emphasizes employment law, wage and hour disputes, and workplace safety while encompassing a wide variety of litigation and counseling matters on local, state and federal areas of law.

Andrew’s strong business background provides a practical approach to employers who encounter countless workplace issues while providing excellent defense of his clients when claims and litigation arise. He has dedicated his career to advising and defending clients on the alphabet soup of state and federal claims, including areas such as Title VII, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and FLSA.

Throughout his life, Andrew has viewed himself as a problem solver, and he takes that role most seriously for his clients. He provides advice on how to most effectively and efficiently comply with laws that affect employers day to day. When problems arise in the workplace, Andrew relies upon his background and experience to craft solutions that put the employer in the best position to protect itself and maintain a healthy work environment.

Employers rely on Andrew when problems extend beyond the workplace. He defends clients before state and federal agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also routinely defends employers in a wide array of employment litigation in courts throughout the country from district courts to appellate courts.

Andrew’s enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children in sports, and being an energetic and supportive dance dad to his daughter. He is also involved in his community with various charitable organizations.
