Ariel F. Valerio-Meek

Ariel Valerio-Meek is an associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Ariel began her legal career at an insurance defense firm focused on defending businesses and individuals from personal injury claims. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, she clerked for the Honorable Barbara L. Major in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

While in law school, Ariel externed for the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the California Office of Legislative Counsel. She was also the editor in chief of the California Western Law Review, a member of Moot Court Honors Board, secretary of the Black Law Student Association, and a teaching fellow for Property I and II.
