Biography

Carrie L. Kinsella is Of Counsel in the St. Louis, Missouri, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She represents employers in the defense of federal and state claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including matters arising under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Missouri Human Rights Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act. Her practice encompasses the defense of employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.

Ms. Kinsella also advises management with regard to compliance with state and federal employment laws, employee handbooks and personnel policies and practices, employment agreements and restrictive covenants, reductions in force, leave issues, and EEO training. She also has experience handling internal investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, as well as HR-related organizational compliance issues generally. She has defended employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.

Ms. Kinsella previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, defending state agencies and officers in employment and civil rights litigation.
