Cliff LaFemina
Cliff LaFemina is an associate in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents employers and management with respect claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation and other alleged violations of labor and employment laws before courts, administrative agencies, and arbitrators, and provides advice to ensure compliance with the complex and ever-changing federal, state, and local laws.
Cliff also practices traditional labor law and works closely with clients in areas such as collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. Additionally, Cliff prosecutes and defends actions involving breaches of restrictive covenants, including non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements, in both state and federal courts.
During law school, Cliff was the business editor for the Hofstra Law Review. He was also a member of the Dispute Resolution Society, and, following graduation, served as an adjunct professor assisting students in preparation for external mediation, arbitration, and negotiation competitions.
