Jeffrey "Jeff" Wilson is of counsel in the Atlanta, Georgia, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He takes a thoughtful, business‑first approach to employment litigation, positioning employers to avoid conflict where possible and achieve efficient, favorable resolutions when litigation is unavoidable.

Jeff previously served as a supervisory attorney and Special Assistant United States Attorney, where he advised and represented management in employment matters. This experience enables him to analyze claims quickly, identify vulnerabilities in opposing arguments, and develop strategic, practical defenses aligned with employers’ legal and organizational objectives.

A trusted advisor and skilled litigator, Jeff regularly defends employers against claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation involving race, sex, color, national origin, disability, and age. He also counsels employers on performance management, workplace misconduct, and compliance with federal and state protected‑leave laws. As a former supervisory attorney who managed union‑represented employees, Jeff brings firsthand management insight to his employment counseling and litigation work.

Jeff advises and litigates on issues overlapping traditional employment law, including public‑accommodation discrimination under Title II of the Civil Rights Act and physical‑accessibility claims under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Jeff’s practice further covers wage and hour work under federal, state, and local law. This includes providing advice on complying with myriad laws regulating wages, wage payments, and garnishments. Jeff also assists with collective and class action suits brought against employers for unpaid or underpaid wages.

Privacy and Class Action Litigation Experience – Jeff leverages his class and collective action experience to litigate various privacy claims. He has worked on matters arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Texas Business and Commercial Code. His litigation experience includes opposing motions for collective certification, class discovery, and taking depositions. His experience spans class and collective actions in federal courts across Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, and New York.

Jeff earned top‑two advocate honors as a member of the University of Florida Trial Team and devoted hundreds of pro bono hours to legal aid while in law school. Outside of practice, he enjoys spending time with family, getting outdoors, and caring for his retired racing Greyhounds.
