Sam Martin is an associate in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice encompasses all aspects of employment litigation, including state and federal discrimination claims, non-competition, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure matters, and matters before administrative agencies in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Sam routinely advises clients regarding non-competition issues, compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws, including those related to employee discipline and discharge, disability management and leave of absence issues, wage and hour issues, and reductions in force.

In 2022, Sam was appointed by Governor Chris Sununu to serve as Chair of the New Hampshire Executive Branch Ethics Committee. Sam also serves as a director of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, a nonprofit, grant-making charitable foundation dedicated to supporting civil legal aid for the disadvantaged and law-related education in New Hampshire.

Sam previously practiced both commercial and employment litigation at a boutique litigation firm in Boston where he also clerked during law school. While attending law school, Sam was a member of the Boston College Law School European Law Moot Court Team and a quarterfinalist in the Grimes Moot Court Competition.
