Tania S. Kamjula
Tania Sethi Kamjula is an associate in the Seattle, Washington, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She is a litigator who has represented public and private employers in high-stakes workplace disputes from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeals across state and federal courts. She has successfully litigated a spectrum of employment matters and labor disputes, including workplace injury, toxic tort, and whistleblower retaliation claims against Fortune 500 railroad companies; sexual harassment and discrimination claims against private employers and their officers; and wage and hour class actions and collective bargaining agreement disputes against public healthcare employers.
Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Tania worked as a commercial litigation and appellate attorney in Seattle and Dallas Fort-Worth litigating complex disputes for private entities involving professional liability, non-compete agreements, trade secrets violations, trademark infringements, and merger and acquisition-related issues. Tania also litigated multi-faceted surety and commercial construction claims on behalf of Fortune 100, Fortune 500, and Global 500 sureties, homeowners associations, and government agencies.
As a certified mediator, Tania is adept at assessing the risks and benefits of a case and developing innovative litigation strategies to obtain the best possible outcome for her clients. Her dedication to her clients and commitment to justice has consistently been highly regarded not just by her clients, but also judges, mediators, arbitrators, and her opposing counsel. In fact, since 2021, Tania has served over 1,250 hours in pro bono services to survivors of domestic violence, single mothers and their children seeking asylum, and prisoners with mental health disorders seeking to protect their civil rights. Tania's problem-solving approach, zealous advocacy, and trusted candor has led her to secure significant favorable judgments and settlements and successfully defend verdicts on appeal.
