William A. Llamas is an associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

During law school, William was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal and served on its board of directors as an articles editor. He was also actively involved on several on campus student organizations such as USD Law’s Business Law Society, La Raza, and the Employment and Labor Law Society. He graduated with a concentration in labor and employment law.

Additionally, William was selected as a diversity fellow for the San Diego County Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel’s Diversity Fellowship Program, where he spent a summer working as a law clerk in-house at Sony Electronics. His time there helped William recognize that needs vary from one client to the next, and he takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and priorities and works with it to develop tailored approaches that balance risk prevention with business objectives and growth strategies.

William is also a recipient of the Jackson Lewis Labor and Employment Scholarship, awarded to a law student who has demonstrated outstanding academic performance in labor and employment law courses.
