In 2019, we've seen the implementation of several impactful New York employment laws such as the mandate for sexual harassment training. There were other major developments that organizations must continue to focus on, as well as new arenas the New York State legislature, New York Department of Labor and other agencies have made a priority for 2020. A few of those include newly protected characteristics, expanded equal pay protections and a ban on applicant inquiries into salary histories. This session will advise attendees on how to minimize liability and ensure compliance for the coming year.
