Amy L. Peck, Katrin U. Schatz and Mary T. Costigan Named 2026 Lexology Client Choice Award Winners

NEW YORK, NY (December 9, 2025) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackon Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce that Lexology has named Amy L. Peck, Katrin “Kathy” U. Schatz and Mary T. Costigan recipients of the 2026 Client Choice Award. This award recognizes law firms and partners that distinguish themselves through the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service.

“Amy, Kathy and Mary are not only outstanding attorneys but trusted advisors and leaders in their respective fields,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “We are proud to celebrate these recognitions which underscore the depth of talent at Jackson Lewis and our commitment to delivering exceptional results for our clients.”

Amy is a principal in the firm’s Omaha office and serves as co-leader of the firm’s Immigration group. She focuses her practice on complex immigration and workplace compliance issues. Amy’s distinct approach to client service stems from her understanding that businesses require practical advice that considers multiple perspectives, especially when employment and immigration law overlap. Her immigration experience also includes serving on the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) Board of Governors, the American Immigration Council’s Board of Trustees and chairing the AILA National Verification Committee. This is Amy’s third consecutive year being awarded for her work in the Immigration category.

Kathy is a principal in the firm’s Dallas office. She is an experienced litigator who represents employers before administrative and state agencies in court proceedings and arbitrations in a range of employment matters, including class and collective actions. Kathy’s counseling practice focuses on compliance and litigation avoidance, with an emphasis on advising employers how to navigate the complex legal framework for working with ill and injured workers, create effective strategies for Americas with Disabilities Act and Family and Medical Leave Act compliance and develop best practices for attendance management. She was awarded for her work in the Labor & Employment category.

Mary is a principal in the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey office. She focuses her practice on counseling national and multinational clients on data privacy and cybersecurity laws, compliance and best practices. Mary advises on a broad range of issues related to Human Resources and employee data, privacy programs and information management, biometric data collection, artificial intelligence, consumer data and state consumer data protection laws, data incident response preparation, vendor management and data processing agreements, privacy and security under the U.K. and EU General Data Protection Regulations, and cross-border transfers. She was awarded for her work in the Data category.

Nominations for Lexology’s Client Choice Award are uniquely made by in-house counsel. Clients are asked to rate individual lawyers and firms on key client service criteria, including quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, value for money, responsiveness, effective communication, clarity of documentation, sharing of expertise, appropriate staffing, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics.

Amy earned her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Kathy earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and her B.A. from New Mexico State University.
