Kevin G. Lauri


Kevin G. Lauri is firm chair of Jackson Lewis P.C. and responsible for providing strategic direction to what has been consistently recognized as one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms. He is responsible for guiding the overall growth and direction of Jackson Lewis and maintaining the firm’s collaborative culture.

An instrumental part of the firm since 1995, Kevin served on the firm’s Finance Committee in addition to serving on Jackson Lewis’ Board of Directors since 2011. In 2009 he was elected office managing principal of the firm’s New York City office, subsequently holding that role for ten years until he was elected firm chair. In these roles he was the driving force behind countless initiatives to improve Jackson Lewis’ expansion and profitability efforts.

Kevin has always had a passion for client development and understands the need to deliver exceptional client service to employers in whatever venue works best for them. During his time on the Board of Directors, Jackson Lewis expanded its client service initiative and formalized Client Service Standards to ensure every member of the firm is actively invested in providing the highest quality of client service on a daily basis, and understands the critical need to become an extension of the client’s team.

Before assuming responsibility for Jackson Lewis’ day to day administration and management, Kevin focused his practice on employment litigation and counseling. He served as the firm’s primary relationship manager for multiple Fortune 100 companies, including IBM, beginning in 1999; Pfizer, beginning in 2001; one of the world’s largest information technology companies; and a multinational investment bank and financial services corporation. In these roles Kevin was responsible for ensuring consistent quality and efficient representation on matters throughout the country.

Kevin also represented employers in state and federal courts and administrative actions including race, gender, religious, national origin, age, and disability discrimination; sexual harassment; retaliation; defamation; public policy violations; wage and hour; breach of contract; and claims involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets. His practice included the defense of single and multi-plaintiff cases, as well as collective and class actions.
