Jackson Lewis Receives Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association 2023 Diversity Award

HARTFORD, CT (October 26, 2023) - Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the firm has been named a recipient of the 2023 Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association (CAPABA) Diversity Award. The Diversity Award recognizes a person or organization that has demonstrated its commitment to diversity in the legal profession and support for CAPABA's mission. Jackson Lewis was presented with the Diversity Award at CAPABA’s Annual Dinner on October 25, 2023, at the Hilton Stamford Hotel in Stamford, Connecticut.

 

“We are proud to be to be recognized by CAPABA for our efforts,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “CAPABA is an organization that has made a strong impact in strengthening the legal industry in Connecticut. Jackson Lewis takes pride in its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, and we will continue supporting CAPABA and other affinity bar organizations to raise awareness of social issues impacting communities.”

 

CAPABA’s mission is to support Asian Pacific American attorneys and communities and those interested in Asian Pacific American legal issues throughout the state of Connecticut. The organization has established a Mentor Program to assist Asian Pacific American law students in Connecticut to become successful attorneys and an Asian Pacific American Legal Referral Service to encourage professional relationships among those attorneys. CAPABA also partners with local and national bar associations in sponsoring programs and conferences. CAPABA’s membership consists of attorneys, law professors, law students, and interested individuals.
