Jackson Lewis Strengthens Immigration Group with Addition of Kaha Kvachatadze

WHITE PLAINS, NY (July 8, 2025) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Kaha Kvachatadze as a principal in its White Plains office. Kaha joins the firm from Pfizer, where he spent nearly two decades leading the company’s in-house immigration function.

“Kaha’s background has given him unique, hands-on experience in balancing business objectives with the critical needs of global talent,” said Otieno B. Ombok and Amy L. Peck, co-leaders of the firm’s Immigration group. “Clients will benefit from his thoughtful and solutions-oriented approach to navigating today’s immigration challenges. We are delighted to welcome him to the firm and look forward to working alongside him.”

Kaha focuses his practice on advising multinational corporations on immigration strategies and supporting immigration matters across every stage of the employee lifecycle. He works closely with stakeholders across business units and legal departments to build strong internal partnerships and develop immigration compliance policies in coordination with human resources, talent acquisition, global mobility and employment law teams.

Kaha’s practice is distinguished by a deep understanding of workforce dynamics and the regulatory frameworks that govern them. He frequently guides employers through complex immigration challenges related to large-scale mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring seamless integration and separation processes. Additionally, he has collaborated closely with global security teams to advise on international travel protocols, led enterprise-wide immigration communications strategies, and navigated government inspections and investigations. Kaha approaches each immigration matter on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing both employer and employee needs to develop tailored, effective solutions.

“Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to building immigration programs that not only ensure compliance but also drive business success,” said Kaha. “Joining Jackson Lewis gives me the opportunity to work alongside a team that’s at the forefront of today’s evolving immigration landscape, providing strategic counsel to high-caliber clients. I’m thrilled to be part of a solutions-oriented firm with a strong commitment to client service and innovation.”

Kaha applies his thoughtful approach to immigration through work with refugee initiatives and pro bono clinics that assist low-income immigrants with asylum and naturalization processes. His early career experience as a Legal Officer with the United Nations Development Programme helped shape his global perspective and long-standing commitment to expanding access to legal support.

Kaha earned his LLM from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and his Diploma in Law from Tbilisi State University.
