Donald E. English Jr. Named to The Daily Record's Power List

BALTIMORE, MD (October 31, 2022) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Donald “Donny” E. English, Jr. has been featured in The Daily Record as one of Maryland’s power players on its 2022 Business & Employment Law Power List. The List is comprised of the state’s most significant, influential, and respected business and employment law practitioners.

Donald is the firm’s Baltimore office managing principal and serves as co-leader of the firm’s Trials and Appeals group. He also serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. He is an experienced trial attorney and has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials to verdict in federal and state courts. He has more than 20 years of experience litigating employment matters and assisting major corporations with internal investigations and in the development and establishment of employment policies, procedures, and training programs.

Donny frequently advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants and retaliation claims. He also advises and trains managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, focusing on how to comply with applicable laws and regulations, avoid workplace disputes, resolve employee relation problems and satisfy legitimate employee expectations. Donny represents employers in a variety of industries, including automotive, healthcare, higher education, retail, construction, financial services and technology.

Donny earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy.
