Litigator Garen E. Dodge Rejoins Jackson Lewis' Washington, D.C. Region Office

RESTON, VA (July 7, 2021) Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Garen E. Dodge has returned to the firm’s Washington, D.C. Region office as a principal. Garen rejoins the firm from Epstein Becker & Green, where his practice covered the spectrum of labor and employment litigation.

“Garen’s return will further strengthen our litigation capabilities nationwide,” said General Employment Litigation group co-leaders Nadine C. Abrahams and Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris. “His wide-ranging labor and employment experience will provide our clients with an invaluable perspective as they navigate federal and state employment laws. Garen has earned himself a strong reputation as a litigator and we are excited to have him back at the firm.”

Garen represents clients before state and federal court on issues involving privacy, discrimination, background checks, harassment, wage and hour, and occupational safety and health. Throughout his career, Garen has served as counsel of record in seminal U.S. Supreme Court and appellate cases as Amicus Curiae. In addition to litigating cases, Garen advises clients on matters relating to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act, assists companies in establishing workplace programs, and trains supervisors and employees on effective personnel policies. Garen has also testified before agencies such as the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

Garen frequently represents clients from a broad range of industries including communications, education, food and beverage, hospitality, retail, and transportation, and employers that do business with federal, state, and local government agencies.

“We could not be more thrilled to welcome Garen back to the firm,” said Michael H. Neifach, Washington, D.C. Region office managing principal. “He has an impressive track record in labor and employment litigation and his experience will be a valuable resource for our clients.”

Garen earned his J.D. from William & Mary School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
