Richard F. Vitarelli Named Co-Leader of Jackson Lewis' National Labor Practice

NEW YORK, NY (January 14, 2020) Jackson Lewis P.C., one of the country’s preeminent workplace law firms, is pleased to announce Principal Richard F. Vitarelli has been named Co-Leader the firm’s Labor and Preventive Practices group, alongside Jonathan J. Spitz. Mr. Vitarelli has more than two decades of experience representing employers nationally in strategic labor relations, collective bargaining, corporate transactions and union organizing matters.

Mr. Vitarelli is a Principal in the firm’s Hartford office. Mr. Vitarelli's practice includes handling sophisticated collective bargaining matters, including national, multi-employer and industry agreements. His practice also includes representation of employers in multi-employer benefits matters, including multi-employer pension withdrawal liability matters. Mr. Vitarelli’s labor relations practice includes representation of employers covered by the National Labor Relations Act and the Railway Labor Act.

Mr. Vitarelli serves as general labor and employment counsel for employers and multi-employer associations in various industries, including construction, human and animal health care, manufacturing, airline, commercial laundry, transportation and distribution, state and local government.
