NEW YORK, NY (April 20, 2026) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Principal Victoria L. Boesch (Vicky) has been appointed co-leader of the Trials and Appeals group, alongside Greg Riolo. Vicky has more than 20 years of litigation and appellate experience in both government and private practice.
“Vicky’s appointment is a strategic investment in the continued strength of our Trials and Appeals practice,” said Firm Chair Kevin Lauri. “She brings a rare combination of trial experience and appellate acumen, and her background in federal government defense adds a critical dimension to our ability to anticipate challenges, align litigation strategy across forums and deliver high-caliber results for clients nationwide.”
In her practice, Vicky represents companies and federal agencies in a wide range of employment and related matters in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Vicky served as a civil defense unit chief in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California, where she oversaw a broad range of civil litigation. As an assistant U.S. attorney, she defended federal agencies in employment discrimination cases, first-chairing jury and bench trials, and briefing and arguing appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
“Drawing on my experience in both government and private practice, I approach litigation with a focus on anticipating risk and shaping strategy early,” said Vicky. “I look forward to further developing our trial and appellate capabilities, leveraging our strong national platform to deliver coordinated, strategic advocacy and high-quality outcomes for clients.”
Jackson Lewis’ Trials and Appeals group is a nationwide team of attorneys with experience handling employment matters at both the trial and appellate levels. The group represents employers in a broad range of disputes, including class actions, multijurisdictional litigation and single-plaintiff claims. Its attorneys have collectively tried more than 1,000 employment cases and work collaboratively with the firm’s practice and industry groups to develop litigation strategies, prepare witnesses and present cases in court. In addition to trial work, the group handles appellate matters, including preserving issues for appeal, challenging adverse rulings and defending favorable outcomes.
Vicky received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, her M.F.A from the University of California, Davis and her B.A. from Dartmouth College.
